Her background includes working in professional rugby and within the Hand Team at the Royal United Hospital in Bath.
She brings that breadth of experience to everyone she treats, from desk-related aches to complex injuries.
Her additional training includes injection therapy and independent prescribing, which informs her understanding of the wider treatment options available.
Rachel’s approach:

A first contact physiotherapist is a physio working in a GP surgery who assesses muscle, bone and joint problems so patients can get expert advice quickly. Rachel does this in the NHS alongside her private practice.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your problem. Many people need only a few sessions, while recovery after surgery or a long-standing issue may take longer. Rachel will give you a clear idea after your first assessment.
What Is the difference between a physiotherapist and a Chiropractor?
Both assess and treat musculoskeletal problems. Physiotherapists tend to focus on rehabilitation, exercise and movement alongside hands-on treatment, while chiropractors often focus more on hands on spinal and joint manipulation a long side exercise prescription. At Circus Health you can see either, and we’ll help you find the best fit.
